It premiered at the 2021 Sundance Film Festival and won the World Cinematic Dramatic Special Jury Award.

Even though it was produced by Wang Kawei, it was not as if Na Hong Jin was full of steam in The Medium. The characters, without a lot of swagger, are swagger to a certain extent.

Although nothing like Chungking Express, it's a must watch movie if you like Chungking Express.

You will know what you need after watching. I have to say that Thai movies are supported by other Asian film gurus. Last year, Korean horror master Na Hong Jin released The Medium, and this year, Hong Kong romance master Wang Kawei released this film.
